We wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who voted for us. We really appreciate the time and effort you put into submitting your votes. Unfortunately we did not manage to get enough votes this year to secure the funding we need to carry out our proposed projects.
We are disappointed but we were up against 25 fantastic, much-needed Leith projects and there just wasn’t enough money in the pot for all of us. Those of you who know us well, know that we will keep on trying and we will find other sources of funding to help us reach our goals.
So please stick with us through our journey, especially through these challenging times. We feel stronger and more resilient with your support.
Due to the latest government guidelines we have had to temporarily close our charity shop/training centre. We will update you regularly on any developments through our Facebook/website. We look forward to welcoming you back and really appreciate your continued support. Stay safe.
The All Together Team
We are delighted that the Trams to Newhaven team have given us the opportunity to showcase our project in the Small Business Spotlight. It shows the work we do, how people can benefit from our service and also highlights other vital small businesses in the Leith area.
We are very proud to be part of the Leith Gives Campaign that has helped so many people in Leith over the Winter season. Many of our trainees/volunteers benefited from the campaign and were utterly delighted when they received food hampers, Christmas gifts and laptops/tablets.
The laptops/iPads have really boosted their mental health and enabled them to continue their training programme online and keep in touch with family, friends during the festive period.
Training has been put on hold at the moment but we will keep in touch with everyone through the website, Facebook and by phone. Keep safe everyone.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t hold our annual graduation ceremony this year but we did manage to hold individual certificate presentations in the shop instead during November and December. Here are a few pictures of our trainees receiving their certificates:
Our students of 2019/20 have all done extremely well and passed their course with flying colours. They have achieved qualifications in either the Ready for Retail Award, Work Skills 1 or Cleaning Skills.
Thank you Scotmid!
Scotmid very generously awarded All Together Edinburgh £200 in Scotmid vouchers through their community grant funding programme. These vouchers will be used to buy gifts for our 2019/20 graduates at Christmas.
We have done it again! We have been chosen to be part of the Co-op Local Community Fund for another year ( from November 2020 to October 2021). Thank you Co-op for this wonderful opportunity.

A big thank you to Roan, Manager of Co-op, MacDonald Road, for giving us the “goody bags” filled with festive treats
