The All Together Edinburgh charity shop was opened on Saturday 25th June by stand-up comedian and Edinburgh Evening News columnist Susan Morrison.
The trainees excitedly held the ribbon ready for Susan to cut and announce the shop officially open. The massive queue of people hurriedly entered the shop to look around for quality items at bargain prices. Most customers bought several items and were very pleased with the prices.
The trainees loved the buzz of the opening day and all took a turn to serve customers and bag their purchases. They managed to keep calm even though there was a queue of people to be served throughout the day .I was so pleased with the way they handled the pressure and how they managed to enjoy the occasion. They were all eager to stay the whole day and could not wait to come back in on their training day.
Thank you to Susan for opening the shop, to the staff for helping on the opening day and a special thank you must go to the trainees who came in to help on their day off.
