Debbie Muir Douglas, Project Manager for All Together Edinburgh recently won £1000 for the charity. Pricewaterhousecoopers recently held a competition for social enterpreneurs in their Glasgow office. They asked people to stand up for one minute to talk about their social enterprise, the work they do and what the £1000 would be used for. This was called an “elevator pitch”
Debbie was up against 7 other social enterpreneurs and managed to win first prize. The £1000 is going to be used for a new laptop, printer, ink and paper which is used daily for printing off evidence for the trainees Borders College qualification.
